In transit
- TLS 1.3 across all connections, HSTS preload-eligible.
At rest
- Encryption at rest via the managed Postgres provider (industry-standard AES-class block ciphers — exact algorithm + key-management detail will be published in the trust report).
- Daily backups with point-in-time restore (7 days, our hosting provider’s retention window).
Access control
- Role-based access (Owner, Admin, Dispatcher, Tech, Back-office).
- Location-scoped multi-tenancy — branch staff only see their branch.
Compliance — roadmap
- SOC 2 Type II — pre-audit prep stage. Audit firm engagement and Type II window will be announced before general availability.
- GDPR / CCPA: data subject access & deletion via support@fieldvalve.com.
